      Globe Advent         8

Join Doña Croll in the warmth and cosiness of the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse as she reads Amazing Peace: A Christmas Poem by Maya Angelou.

One of the most renowned voices of our time, Angelou originally wrote and performed Amazing Peace for the 2005 White House tree-lighting ceremony, and her deeply moving words still serve as a significant reminder for us all, today.

We listen carefully as it gathers strength.
We hear a sweetness.
The word is Peace.
