hakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Deputy Visitor Operations Manager to join our Visitor and Audience Operations team.
The Deputy Visitor Operations Manager works with the wider Visitor Operations Management team to deliver the highest standards of audience experience in the delivery of site wide activity. Working closely with the Visitor Operations Manager, this role underpins the day-to-day operations of the work of the team, provides management and leadership to the team, and ensures a proactive approach to health and safety is taken to the department’s work.
This role is offered as full-time post but we are happy to discuss flexible working options, including part-time, compressed hours and job share arrangements. Due to the nature of the role, it must be worked onsite at Shakespeare’s Globe on London’s Bankside.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver outstanding customer service as part of a holistic approach to audience experience and will have honed these skills in a fast-paced, complex customer service environment with multiple priorities. They will have practical experience of using their health and safety knowledge to ensure standards are met and maintained and will have the ability to build strong collaborative relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. The right person for this role will have events and activity planning experience, excellent communication, numeracy and computer skills (MS Office), and be able to seek out and implement operational improvements.
