Visitor and Audience Operations Support Manager

Shakespeare’s Globe is looking for a Visitor and Audience Operations Support Manager to join our Audiences Department.

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Support Manager for our busy Visitor and Audience Operations team to join us on a part-time, permanent basis.

The Visitor and Audience Operations Support Manager is responsible for department wide support of the front facing operation. You will actively support the administration and behind the scenes operations of the department.  This role works across the team supporting the volunteer, tours and site management processes and procedures and departmental administration of any Under Globe events. You will also connect with the wider team across the Globe to ensure the department support the work of other departments effectively with accurate and up to date information.

This role is offered as a part-time post of 21 hours per week. This would ideally be worked over 3 days but we are happy to talk about other arrangements. This role is suitable for hybrid working, with the expectation that at least one day per week is worked onsite at Shakespeare’s Globe on London’s Bankside.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of administration in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational and prioritising skills. They will have some experience of managing or supervising people, and the basic HR best practice which goes along with this. The right person for this role will have effective communication, interpersonal and computer skills (MS Office), and be able to use their own initiative to spot and resolve problems.
