Win a copy of Learwife, the debut novel by J R Thorp: 

  • There is one copy of Learwife to be won
  • To enter on Twitter: Follow us @The_Globe and @Canongatebooks, like and reply to our competition tweet with the name of a Shakespearean character you’d like to hear more from
  • To enter on Facebook: Follow us @Shakespeare’s Globe, Like our competition post, and comment with the name of a Shakespearean character you’d like to hear more from
  • The competition closes on Sunday 12 December 2021, 11.59pm (GMT)
  • The winner will be picked at random and contacted via social media no later than Wednesday 15 December 2021, 6.00pm

Please read these competition rules carefully. By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read these rules and agree to be bound by them:

  • Entry is open to UK entrants aged 18 and over, except for those not eligible to take part: employees or contractors of the promoters or immediate family members of employees or contractors of the promoters
  • There will be no charge for entering the competition
  • Only entries submitted before Sunday 12 December 2021, 11.59pm (GMT) will be entered into the competition
  • No responsibility can be accepted by Shakespeare’s Globe for entries that are not received for any reason and incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified
  • All entries received after the closing date will automatically be disqualified
  • If you win the competition, we will notify you via your social media account (using the details provided at entry). If we cannot contact you or you do not respond within 24 hours of being notified by Shakespeare’s Globe, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another competition entrant
  • The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received from Twitter and Facebook
  • The prize is not exchangeable, transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Any information submitted with an entry will not be given to any other organisations apart from the promoters of the competition, Shakespeare’s Globe. Your privacy will be protected
  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter or Facebook. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless Twitter or Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion
