In Conversation invites you to go deeper into Shakespeare’s works and discover more about his plays’ history, context, politics and power.  These pre-recorded conversations are a platform for thinkers, writers and artists to share their knowledge about Shakespeare’s works.

Chaired by a member of the Globe’s research team, our discussions might reach back four centuries to their time of composition and first performance, or we might talk about the plays’ history on stage. We’ll discuss the power his words have right now, and whether Shakespeare’s messages chime with the values we hold today.
