Ukulele obsessed alcoholic who fell off the wagon last night. Grief-stricken man who may not be ready. Vegan muscle man and clean freak who won’t get tested. Distinguished gentleman…
A woman tells her daughter about every man she’s ever been with – in the hope her daughter won’t make the same mistakes.
This black comedy by Lorien Haynes, directed by Tara Fitzgerald, traces a woman’s relationship history backwards, exploring the impact of sexual assault, addiction and teen pregnancy on her adult relationships.
As part of the Globe’s ongoing Voices in the Dark series, looking at the themes explored in the plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries through the lens of 21st century lived experiences, art and activism, we present this staged reading of Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men.
Presented in association with RISE and The Circle, all profits from this event will go towards supporting survivors of sexual violence.
We are delighted to welcome Nobel-Prize nominee and founder of Rise, Amanda Nguyen, to introduce the evening.
Thanks in huge part to RISE’s work, January 2020 sees the introduction of the Worldwide Sexual Violence Survivor Rights United Nations Resolution, which addresses the global issue of sexual violence and penning into existence the civil rights of millions of survivors.
