Romeo and Juliet Workshop (9–12 years) 2020

Book today and join from home via Zoom

This event has now passed.

Explore Shakespeare’s most famous love story in this fun and practical interactive online workshop. This session is a perfect supplement to our Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank: Romeo and Juliet film.

Using a range of activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes, this session will bring you together with other families to dive into the world of this dramatic tale of love and hate.

Workshops will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors. You can enjoy this as an experience on its own or alongside one of our related storytellings.

Recommended for ages 9–12 and their families. All those attending a session must be accompanied by an adult on screen at all times.

ONLINE EVENTS: HOW DO THEY WORK?

A ticket covers one household joining via one device. These online events will be attended by up to 15 households on the same video meeting. Please ensure you are in the Zoom waiting room five minutes prior to the event start time.

A link with joining instructions will be emailed to you a day before the event. You will need access to a reliable internet connection and be able to join a Zoom meeting.

Participants are invited to tell us about any access requirements during the booking process; this will enable us to be aware of needs in order to make reasonable adjustments and/or adapt content where possible.

These online events are interactive and fun for all, which means that there are opportunities for the Globe practitioner and the participants to engage directly with each other live.

To make sure that everyone is also safe, all children must be accompanied on screen by at least one adult at all times and no recording or photography will be permitted.

Our staff retain the right to terminate any participant’s connection to the Zoom meeting if an adult is not present on screen or if our Ticketing terms and Community guidelines are not followed.
