This event has now passed.

Be guided through a strange and wonderful land by our practitioners in this interactive online storytelling session.

The powerful sorcerer, Prospero lives on an island with only his daughter Miranda, the spirit Ariel and the slave Caliban. Until one day he conjures a storm and there is a shipwreck. The new arrivals find themselves caught up in a family feud, but as magic takes flight grudges are set aside and love finally conquers all.

Storytellings will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors. You can enjoy this as an experience on its own or alongside one of our related workshops.

We are such stuff,
As dreams are made on.

— The Tempest, Act IV, scene 1

Recommended for ages 5–12 and their families. All those attending a session must be accompanied by an adult on screen at all times.

A ticket covers one household joining via one device. These online events will be attended by up to 20 households on the same video meeting. Once under way the online event will be locked after 10 minutes, so please join a couple of minutes in advance of your start time.

A link with joining instructions will be emailed to you a day before the event. You will need access to a reliable internet connection and be able to join a Zoom meeting.

Participants are invited to tell us about any access requirements during the booking process; this will enable us to be aware of needs in order to make reasonable adjustments and/or adapt content where possible. As this project is at a pilot stage we will be learning from experiences and feedback to improve future online events. We cannot guarantee adjustments will be in place at this time.

These online events are interactive and fun for all, which means that there are opportunities for the Globe practitioner and the participants to engage directly with each other live.

To make sure that everyone is also safe, all children must be accompanied on screen by at least one adult at all times and no recording or photography will be permitted.

Our staff retain the right to terminate any participant’s connection to the Zoom meeting if an adult is not present on screen or if our Ticketing terms and Community guidelines are not followed.
