What to know before you get here

We’re located right by the River Thames, and easily accessed by many types of transport. Start your day with a lovely riverside walk along some of London’s most popular footpaths and see if you can spot some of the famous buildings on the skyline.

Get here early

Why not start the day right with breakfast right here at the Globe? A treat like this is hard to resist and there’s plenty of space to relax before the bustle of the day begins.

Our friends at the Swan Bar & Restaurant have three spaces on site where you can take a break throughout the day, whether you’re looking for light snacks in our Foyer Café or something more substantial in our restaurant.

Take a tour

During half term we run family tours of the Globe Theatre created with young people specially in mind. Explore Shakespeare’s London and discover the theatrical world he created, with plenty of fun facts and stories to bring history to life before your very eyes.

The tours run every day at 9.00am – book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out!
