People | Shakespeare’s Globe

Head of Human Resources

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Head of HR to join our People Department.

The Head of Human Resources will lead all activities and strategies relating to HR, People, Inclusion and Culture. The role is full-time with the option of flexible working, and all individual circumstances will be considered. As the Head of HR you will work closely with the Senior Leadership group and Directorate, creating longer term strategies and plans, leading a team to deliver the day-to-day operational HR requirements.

This role would suit an experienced Head of HR or an existing HR Business Partner/HR Manager ready to make their move into their first strategic Head of HR role. You will have experience of driving people strategies, whilst also providing operational HR expertise and working within a responsive, customer centric and agile HR function.

Theatre and performance | Shakespeare’s Globe

Assistant Producer

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking an Assistant Producer to join our Theatre & Performance Department.

The Assistant Producer will be responsible for supporting the Senior Producers in the development of Globe productions. As well as providing support on the large-scale productions happening across the year, the role is responsible for line producing selected productions and projects as required, including some events and wrap-around activity.

The successful candidate will have experience of producing theatre, ideally in a Producing or General Management role, and an excellent understanding of working with creative teams, able to pre-empt and respond to their needs. They will also have experience in producing community theatre, skilled at developing community partnerships. We are looking for someone who is flexible and collaborative, able to take the initiative and build relationships internally and externally, and deal with delicate situations with tact and sensitivity.

Theatre and performance | Shakespeare’s Globe

Touring Manager

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking an Touring Manager to join our Theatre & Performance Department.

Working closely with the Senior Producers and Producing team, the Tour Manager will lead on tour booking, touring administration, planning, and logistics for all aspects of Shakespeare’s Globe on Tour. The Tour Manager ensures that every venue has the producing and management support required, while cultivating and maintaining relationships with venues across the country.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing a touring production and significant experience of working in a theatre or performing arts organisation, ideally in Producing or General Management. They must be flexible and collaborative; able to build and maintain relationships, proactively troubleshoot and take initiative in challenging situations.
