Trustees

With several of our dedicated Trustees due to retire, we are looking for people who can sharpen our thinking and bring new and diverse voices and experience as we plan for the Globe’s recovery and future.

Touring Producer (Freelance)

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a freelance Touring Producer for our summer UK tour of JULIUS CAESAR on a freelance, six month contract starting in March.

Working closely with the Senior Producers and Producing team, the Touring Producer will manage the tour, ensuring that every venue has the producing and management support required, while cultivating and maintaining relationships with venues across the country.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing touring productions. They will have significant experience of working in a touring theatre or performing arts touring organisation, ideally in Producing or Tour Management, delivering complex events. They must be flexible and collaborative; able to build and maintain relationships, proactively troubleshoot and take initiative in challenging situations.

Visitor and Audience Operations Support Manager

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Support Manager for our busy Visitor and Audience Operations team to join us on a part-time, permanent basis.

The Visitor and Audience Operations Support Manager is responsible for department wide support of the front facing operation. You will actively support the administration and behind the scenes operations of the department.  This role works across the team supporting the volunteer, tours and site management processes and procedures and departmental administration of any Under Globe events. You will also connect with the wider team across the Globe to ensure the department support the work of other departments effectively with accurate and up to date information.

This role is offered as a part-time post of 21 hours per week. This would ideally be worked over 3 days but we are happy to talk about other arrangements. This role is suitable for hybrid working, with the expectation that at least one day per week is worked onsite at Shakespeare’s Globe on London’s Bankside.

Membership Officer

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking an Membership Officer to join our Development Department.

Working closely with the Patrons Manager, the Membership Officer will play a key supportive role in the raising of funds from individuals via the Globe’s Membership schemes. This will include recruitment, retention and stewardship of members, processing of payments and events management.

This role is a full-time post but we are happy to discuss flexible working options. Please note that because of the nature of the role, some evening and weekend hours will be required and this role cannot be exclusively worked from home (under usual circumstances).

Trusts and Foundations Manager

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking an Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our Development Department.

The Trust and Foundations Manager will take responsibility for supporting the Globe’s fundraising strategy. Working in collaboration with the Co-Director of Development, identify suitable projects, explore suitable funders, and write funding applications to ultimately maximise grants from Trusts and Foundations.

This role is a full-time post but we are happy to discuss flexible working options. Please note that because of the nature of the role, some evening and weekend hours will be required and this role cannot be exclusively worked from home (under usual circumstances).
