CASTING
If you are an actor and would like to send your details to our Casting Department, please submit your CV and headshot, or link to your Spotlight profile, via email . As Shakespeare’s Globe is an unsubsidised theatre, the casting department is relatively small and so we are unable to respond to all submissions but we will contact you if there is a suitable opportunity for you to audition. Please do not send CVs or invitations through the post.
INVITATIONS
If you are performing in anything that we can come and see you in then please email details of your show and we will endeavour to come along. We are not able to respond to all invitations but please know that all emails are read by the department and we will be in contact if one of the team is able to attend.
AUDITIONS
Please note that auditions for all productions at the Globe and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse are by invitation only. The Globe Season runs from April to October and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse Season runs from October to April so auditions take place throughout the year.
FEEDBACK
We are committed to letting all actors know the outcome of their audition via their agent, or directly if they are not represented. This can take a few weeks depending on the process but we aim to do this as soon as possible once a decision has been made. If you have auditioned with us recently and have not heard back please ask your agent to get in touch with us. Due to workload and time constraints we may not be able to give full feedback for every actor but you will receive a yes or no outcome.
OPEN MEETINGS
Shakespeare’s Globe is keen to open our doors and meet new talent, and so we invite professional actors to apply for our open meeting days.
