An introduction or revision session where students attend an interactive lecture and a guided tour of the theatre focusing on GCSE History exam requirements.
Key activities
- Interactive lecture focused on Elizabethan theatre and the construction of the Globe Theatre
- Guided visit linking the site to analysis of key sources relating to Q1 of the Elizabethan England paper.
- Source booklet for each student to use for revision.

LOCATION AND COSTS
At the Globe
£10* per student.
(UK only – please see international pages for other rates)
Maximum of 35 students per Study Session.
Teachers/adults are free on a 1:10 ratio to pupils. £10 per adult outside the ratio. Up to four adults can attend each workshop. All additional 1:1 support staff for SEND students admitted free.
Minimum charge of £200 (for under 20 students).
A £2.50 administration charge applies per booking.

We are a working theatre, which means that whilst we will always do our best to accommodate you at a date/time of your preference, we may need to make some adjustments based on our programming.

Maximum of 35 pupils per Study Session.
Outside the M25, a £40 surcharge will be added to cover travel time. For schools more than 2 hours away, this surcharge will be £60.
Outside the M25, travel and accommodation costs (where applicable) will be added.
