Building on 2018’s inspiring programme of events, we will once again mark Refugee Week, inviting refugee artists, performers and audiences to the Globe to share their stories.
In addition to the programme in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, we will also welcome the Touring Ensemble back to the Globe Theatre for performances of three plays about refuge, displacement and belonging: The Comedy of Errors, Twelfth Night and Pericles.
About Refugee Week
Refugee Week takes place every year across the world in the week around World Refugee Day on 20 June. In the UK, Refugee Week is a nationwide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrates the contribution of refugees to the UK, and encourages a better understanding between communities.
