Because of Members, we are able to introduce more people to the magic of our wooden ‘O’. Supporting work both on stage and behind the scenes, the impact of Membership can be seen across all areas, from funding educational courses and access, to crafting costumes for productions and more.
Since we opened in 1997, we have never received annual government subsidies. The Globe’s foundations were built by Members, and Members continue to support us to this day. As a Member, you have the opportunity to be part of something transformative by continuing our radical theatrical experiment for generations to come.
To thank you for your support, you’ll receive unparalleled access to the Globe including Priority Booking for all performances.
Members can save with a variety of offers, including 20% discount at the Globe Shop, 10% discount at the Swan Bar & Restaurant and 20% discount on selected events.
You’ll unlock backstage access and insights to all our work through biannual editions of Globe Magazine, the digital Members’ Room and regular Membership email newsletters.
Members also get free ticket exchange up to four weeks before bookings and no booking fees.
Once you’ve joined as a Member, you’ll be able to choose from two thank you gifts that you can access wherever you are in the world.
You could share the electric atmosphere of the Globe with a loved one, as you can enjoy two groundling tickets for a show over the summer.
Or, if you’re further afield from our wooden ‘O’, you could choose to experience the magic from home with a production from Globe Player.

With an annual donation of £200, become a Best Friend and play a special role in our charitable work. As a thank you, Best Friends can access Advance Priority Booking, tickets to sold out performances, and a complimentary ticket to the Globe Story & Tour. Your support will also be acknowledged in a programme every season.
Patrons
For £500+, Patron Membership allows you to offer an even greater level of support to our companies, projects and productions. You’ll also gain backstage access to all we do. With four levels of Patron Membership to choose from, you won’t just receive exceptional backstage access but will also play an integral role in funding our work.
