Unlock Shakespeare’s themes, characters and stories inspired by the unique setting of the Globe
Bring Shakespeare alive for your pupils through active engagement with his theatrical world in our primary school offerings.
From September 2020, we are offering the option of online or in school delivery for our storytelling sessions, workshops, tours and in school projects. We are also now accepting forms for booking on-site events when we safely reopen.
WORKSHOPS & TOURS

LIVELY ACTION WORKSHOPS
Our popular Lively Action workshops can be delivered online or in your school. We are also now accepting forms for booking on-site events when we safely reopen.
Workshops are an hour in length, delivered by a Globe practitioner and tailored to your choice of Shakespeare play and key stage.
Sessions are practical, interactive and grounded in the sounds and rhythms of Shakespeare’s language. They can be used to support national curriculum study and augment classroom work on literacy.
Workshops at the Globe include an additional 30 minute tour of the theatre with your practitioner.

TRANSITION PROJECTS
Transitioning between schools can be a challenging time for children.
Our transition projects connect your school with a local infant or secondary school to strengthen the academic or pastoral bridge between key stages using Shakespeare’s stories and language.
Projects are available for year two into three, or year six into seven. They encourage pupils from both year groups to work together to build confidence and key skills as they prepare for a Shakespeare performance.
Projects can be delivered online or in your school. We are also now accepting forms for booking on-site events when we safely reopen.
